@joplinapp I'm using a totally de-googled phone, but I'd like to use joplin as my note app. I can't find an apk to download on either f-droid store, or on github. Please consider adding these, thx!

@kolya Indeed you would need the PortableApps platform to make use of the easier update mechanism. Otherwise you can simply download the Joplin installer yourself and run it.
@joplinapp your app is awesome, but is there any option to create a shortcut or widget for new note on Android devices? I've tried to use #samsung#modesandroutines and there is a handle for that action and for creating new task, but I'm just redirected to app main view...
We now include the Backup plugin by JackGruber to provide another layer of safety to your notes. Joplin will automatically backup your notes in a "JoplinBackup" folder in your home directory.
Quickly import your notes from Evernote by importing a complete folder of ENEX files! Joplin will process all the ENEX files in a directory and create a notebook for each of them.
We improved the new Beta Markdown editor - this is the same editor as on mobile, giving you a more consistent editing experience. Plugin support has also been improved - eventually this will allow developers to easily create cross-platform plugins!
@bananabob@fastmail@fastmail is great. I haven't used their WebDAV feature, but besides emails, their calendar and contact management is great, including CalDav and CardDAV. A high quality product overall.
Iโm celebrating 7 years of continuous @joplinapp use. I had never used the same note-taking app for that long previously. I canโt recommend it enough.
