can't bring myself to use my good yarn until ive used all the shitty, scratchy, acrylic craft yarn I bought in 2018 when I first learned crochet. however. fuck can a man do with these.

(i'm thinking maybe just making a really ugly pouch/bag, or a few smaller ones, to help organize my stuff. but also god why did I have to buy so many eyeburners in different yarn weights.)

it's just really nice. it makes me feel the way Be by Hozier does. it's motivating. it's about love as resistance. to nurture, even when everything seems to be failing and it's tempting to give up and go with the shitflow.

it's love as action. giving to them. caring for them. giving them space to be their own. escaping the inferno is not always just about you and your needs. it's offering yourself for the wellbeing of another too.

anyway. why does this prof refuse to share her lecture slides. she knows the lecture moves too fast for us to take down notes so she leaves photocopies at the reading room for us to take down notes later. we're not allowed to take pics or scan either. imagine if she just gave us softcopies of the learning material lmao.

i dont know if im imagining it but im starting to feel like, that burning sensation that you get when you hold something really cold, like ice. except it's because of the hot air my fan is blowing at me. typing that out, im pretty sure im not describing this right, and/or im imagining it. but anyway. temperature is so hot im hallucinating cold burns.

@evilcookies98 the first episode is free on youtube if youre interested! unfortunately the rest are behind a paywall. but they do have other full seasons of TTRPG shows for free, like Fantasy High. the premise for that one is basically "what if dungeons and dragons was a john hughes movie?"

@evilcookies98 I didn't know about TTRPGs until watching fantasy high either actually, then I got really into it and got my friends to play it a lot with me. I've even played with strangers online, both in voice calls and text-based. now I don't really have the time, but it's still really fun to get into. I love watching the play shows by dropout (the people making fantasy high, a crown of candy, etc) because the cast are all professional comedians, so they're funny, and they value tight storytelling rather than just letting the game drag on forever...

but anyway I'm rambling haha. if you ever check it out, I hope it entertains you as well!
