kapulsa,

As we are already observing some of the catastrophic impacts of climate change, there is no change in greenhouse gas emissions. They are even increasing. At least Wile E. Coyote is intelligent enough to stop before catastrophe although we all know he is unable to avoid it. Why aren’t we?

kapulsa,

Some humanes definitely are. But many are suffering already. With the impending environmental catastrophe, I’d argue humanity as a whole will suffer from the unhealthy relationship between the fossil fuel lobby and politicians.

kapulsa,

Here is an absolutely crazy idea: Why don’t we save the corals by stopping pollution and fossil fuel usage?

In Hungerstreik...

kapulsa, (edited )

Climate activists across Europe block access to North Sea oil infrastructure (www.theguardian.com)

Jonas Kittelsen, a spokesperson for Extinction Rebellion Norway, said: “I’m ashamed to be a Norwegian. Norway profits massively from aggressively expanding our oil and gas sector, causing mass suffering and death globally. My government portrays us as better than the rest of the world, which we are not.”...

kapulsa,

Very good job and very nice that it made news in the guardian.

kapulsa,

1.5°C is a symbolic boundary. It was agreed to not be broken in the Paris agreement in 2016. Not even ten years later, it is broken for the eigth consecutive month and in the yearly average. It will be broken permanently in 5-10 years. It is a symbolic boundary because it is an arbitrary number and every tenth of a degree matters. We still need to support climat action even if it is broken. But it is also a symbol of political incompetency and fossil fuel malice.

kapulsa,

Yes!

I always recommend checking out the following organizations, which are active in many nations:

a22network.org the a22 network is a overarching network of many national climate movements using civil disobedience.

fridaysforfuture.org Fridays for future was created after Greta Thunbergs peaceful protests and now has many national networks using mostly peaceful demonstrations.

scientistrebellion.org scientist rebellion is a worldwide network of scientists using civil disobedience. Again there are many national groups within.

kapulsa,

Environmental rights are already incorporated in the constitutions of many countries. Why are they not respected?

kapulsa,

How does it crash sync?

The Constitution was not damaged, according to the National Archives Museum, which said that the powder was found to be a combination of pigment and cornstarch.

Maybe we should try to prevent the disaster we are causing instead of watching?

kapulsa,

Plastics are not directly causing global warming. But they are a byproduct of the fossil fuel industry and are part of the environmental crisis we are causing.

Very informative, thank you!

kapulsa,

This was a few month ago during the last COP. Really no surprise that the COPs have been quite useless.
