Nach kurzer Urlaubsunterbrechung geht die Erklärbär World Domination Tour weiter. Die nächsten ~36 Stunden bestehen aus einem Kurztrip nach Mainz, diesmal mit deutlich mehr und knapperen Transfers als vor zwei Wochen. Popcorn bereithalten! Etappe 1 startet wie gewohnt auf dem Drahtesel...

My son’s teacher insists that an if statement always also needs an else.
Always.
Empty, if need be.
He wrote an empty else { }.

Latest news about my son’s informatics teacher: he writes everything that’s inside of a function in one single line. No line breaks. And he also doesn’t use spaces after the semicolons. So every function just turns into a veeeeee;eeereee;eeesee;eeeee;ery long line. 🤨

@bastianallgeier I’m not so sure about the former tbh. 😅 But at least he seems to make a virtue out of necessity: whenever there is some new concept to explain, he asks the students whether any of them would like to explain it instead.
