shout out to my uni for having a 2 week exam period and a week beforehand for revision lectures, then only putting 3 exams in 2 days of the exam period and putting the other 3 exams in the revision week

@mic there werent any huge problems with masto.ai, but it was a general-use instance rather than a more specific one so there were a few little annoyances that added up over time, like:

  • admin were unresponsive (they ran multiple large instances at once)
  • custom emotes were random things added in 2020 when it first started so i had :blobfoxthumbsup: without :blobfoxthumbsdown: and things like that lol
  • it was running on vanilla mastodon without glitch-soc, so i didnt get any of the useful things that come with that (eg text formatting, better filterable notifications)

also floofy.tech is just such a better url lmao
