I'm seriously considering testing polling GPIO reads on a pine A64 in C because I can't find a decent DHT22/AM2301 library and I'd have to implement the protocol myself, but I'm not sure I could reliably read the state of a pin every, say, 10µs.
I kinda want to try to move a temperature/humidity sensor and a MAX7219 7-segment display from an ESP32 to the Pine A64 that runs NetBSD, but I've never done anything related to GPIO nor SPI in C on NetBSD and I'm afraid it's be a lot less convenient than with esp-idf :blobcatohnoes:
I should try to find decent copies of Gunm, I read the first chapters when I was 10-12 and I remember liking it very much but never finished the whole series.
