Post partum destroyed my marriage. I wish this was available to my ex wife after our kid was born. We did counseling, tried SSRIs but it never quite helped enough. Hopefully, this will help some women going through this.
I’m not sure if this is the right community for this question, but it says “no stupid question” so here goes. I’m an Israeli who now lives in the US, but I am considering permanently residing in the US or elsewhere (perhaps somewhere in Europe or Canada) because I’ve become kinda disillusioned with Israel for a variety...
As a Russian Jew who fled the Russia in the 1980s, my family moved for our safety and opportunity. Countries don’t deserve reverence just for being countries. We can be proud of our heritage without having to show allegiance to a nation state. Especially, when it is using our ethnicity/religion to brutally wipe out and massacre a civilian population.
Zeteo and data for progress just recently did polling on this. But you’re right. Corporate media just manufactures consent for the horrors committed by the west.
You know Joe has a point when the only thing he and his administration is able to come up with in response to the allegations is “it’s not genocide”.
According to the United Nations, genocide is an internationally recognized crime that involves an act with the intent to destroy a national, racial, ethnic, or religious group, in whole or in part. These acts include:
Killing members of the group
Causing serious mental or physical harm to members of the group
Deliberately inflicting conditions of life on the group that would cause physical destruction
Imposing measures to prevent births within the group
Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group
This doesn’t even include the genocidal rhetoric coming from Knesset members.
It’s pretty clear the administration is on its back foot because no one believes Israel or the U.S. Hell, the majority of his base doesn’t agree with him.
The House delivered a rebuke to President Joe Biden Thursday for pausing a shipment of bombs to Israel, passing legislation that seeks to force the weapons transfer as Republicans worked to highlight Democratic divisions over the Israel-Hamas war....
Looking forward to the pier being used to import settlers and bombs to further decimate Gaza. Because at this point I have no faith in the Biden admini Doing anything right when it comes to this genocide.

Worth listening to a podcast by Ed Zitron who covers this exact same thing.
I work in analytics consulting and aside from some relatively straight forward text classification and parsing there really are so few instances where AI is useful. He actually made the case that AI is useful to people selling AI. But these chatbots are mostly useless bullshit.

There has been some reporting that Jeffrey Epstein was a Mossad agent honey trapping politicians in the US. It was reported on RT but I’ve been wondering the same thing.
This should have been the move on day 10 of the invasion. And a white house insisting on peace negotiations and the release of hostages on both sides. He would have instantly been viewed favorably on this issue and likely wouldn’t have tanked his polling.
Biden is the politician running to win the election. It’s on him to make sure that he gets the most votes. Blaming Palestinians or voters in general for not voting for the guy enabling a genocide is not going to work to get more people to the polls. It’s on Biden.
Yep. He ended up doing healthcare lobbying so he flipped against a Medicare for all. He just tanked any semblance of what made him a likeable politician back in the 2000s. When he went after Bernie in 2016, it became really apparent what his allegiances were.

There were reports about Jeffrey Epstein being a mossad agent using pedophilia to entrap American politicians.
If that was the case, I’m sure Epstein wasn’t the only one. Part of me really wonders if the democratic politicians holding steadfast in support of Israel really are doing this out of fear of being outed for doing heinous shit.
Those aren’t leftists. It’s mostly liberals who tell themselves that israel as a ethno nationalist state is perfectly fine but that a prime Minister boastfully taking Israel to it’s natural conclusion of ethnic cleansing and genocide is too much. They want it to be done more quietly.
Electricity is more expensive because of the wild swings in weather.
food is more expensive because of flooding and eats around the world (some tied to climate change). Example: chocolate, bananas, water.
Housing is more expensive. Hard to tell if this is climate related but certainly have been seeing extreme weather events all across the country which could drive people to move.
Insurance for housing is through the roof. Insurance companies have been paying through the nose for events in coastal cities. Some places in Florida are un-insurable.
