Wayland comes off as though it were designed for embedded applications and required quite a lot of extensions/core protocols added before it was desktop ready.

I suspect this is because the "minimum viable product" of displaying a screen is like. A kiosk and the desire to be a protocol instead of a gigantic nightmare code stack.

In the grand scheme of things I don't have a strong opinion I just want functional and maintained desktops and most of the pain points are gone. On AMD at least.

Ive been having chills all morning. My throat is still scratchy and full of mucus and I feel a bit weak but after some sudafed and rest I feel way more functional.

Considering a lack of fever (just chills) and most symptoms being mucus related im assuming this is allergies. Im still worried I might give my grandma something though.

chill is persist and got worse/better

we just turned down the temps so its a lot more workable but using my pc is a bit of a challenge still

it also got worse right around when im supposed to take sudafed again so i'll probably feel better in an hour.

Feeling sorta whatever now.

Eyes hurt if I look a specific direction. Throat still a little scratchy but not noticably, lots of flem. I suspect I will wake up feeling like shit because of the flem but otherwise be fine.
