Containerization should do for public transit what it did for shipping.

I want to board a passenger container sitting upon a bus-tractor chassis, ride it to the train station, have the entire passenger container placed upon a waiting train car while I'm still seated inside, ride the train to another city, have the passenger container transferred to anotehr bus-tractor, and then ride to my final stop.
