decided to replace a fuel filter in my motorbike. the part itself was like 1 usd and instructions on the internet seemed pretty simple, so decided to do it myself.
successfully did everything up until screwing the fuel pump back to the fuel tank, I overtigtened a flange nut and the thread on the fuel tank just snapped in half. this resulted in the fuel pump not being completely secure, so it starts leaking fuel if the tank is more than half-full.
had to visit like 4 mechanics since none of them had the spare part and each of them asked something akin to "what the fuck, how?" upon seeing the damage, to which I just lied smth like "oh, I bought the bike used and it came like this. what an asshole that seller guy :ARU: "

was drinking with a chinese friend the other day. had a thing where we say cheers in a different language every time, so I just casually asked "oh btw how do you say cheers in malay?". he gave it a hard think for a few seconds, before we both started to laugh as we realized the contradiction
