@ayo Thanks for the reply. Actually I‘m a big fan of Lovecrafts stories. I noticed his racial tendencies as well, but the stories itself are really good if you are into horror.

The color out of space is my favourite - I‘m probably not alone.

That aside: maybe I‘ll actually buy the game. 🤔

Made a small update to my @Vivaldi mod. It adds some drop-shadow to active tabs (including tabs with background audio) making them even more visible and it adds a nice little transition.

Today I tried to convince a colleague to switch from brave to @Vivaldi as his main browser. On monday I'll check if I was successful and otherwise poke him again and show him some more tricks that browser is capable of doing (until he finally gives up 😉 )

Recording videos on building a small project /threads page on my site, where I want to display some featured posts that I write from here. I'll keep videos unlisted until I complete the series then will decide if I like the video format or just convert them into... text 😄

Most recently I created a small UI-mod for @Vivaldi that simulates floating tabs like they are used in Firefox/Brave.
That mod also has:

  • highlighting of inactive tabs, that play background audio
  • a png of the flat Vivaldi logo put into the macOS sonoma shape, so it looks beautiful on macOS
  • a small tutorial on how to enable it

It was also 2017 when I developed a small feed reader, one could use in a webpanel in @Vivaldi , because I already loved the sidebar and the webpanels back then, when no other browser did something like that.

A couple of days later I got a nice response from the Vivaldi-Team in Norway.

That letter always had a very special place in my heart since then.
