Telegram is notoriously insecure and routinely cooperates with govs behind the scenes while talking a big game about speech and privacy. Even their limited opt-in (roll their own) encryption is sus. The more you know 🌈

🛡 Telegram is the only massively popular messaging service that allows everyone to make sure that all of its apps indeed use the same open source code that is published on Github. For the past ten years, Telegram Secret Chats have remained the only popular method of communication that is verifiably private 💪"
I've been digging around Ecosia documentation for a potential upcoming sponsorship and found that they now offer Google results as well, on top of the Bing ones from before. Neat!
Why couldnt EA just use Steam?!
trying to launch Sims 4 for over an hour now.
Doesnt work because the stupid EA app tries to download two expansions that I did not tell it to do, that I do not even own and that wont actually download. I cant stop the download and can only play once the download is complete
Finally it worked.
Just needed to use the EA repair tool, restart my PC and then download the EA app again because apparently it wasn't installed anymore.

Only used it a little bit and already love it!
One out of maybe 12 that I had to report … it does not reflect well on the #SEO industry and #Semrush. It does reflect very well on Medium, which took down misinformation posts very quickly.
@ErikUden that would be pretty weird considering there are no profile pages, no following, no tagging, reactions are not really public and posts don't have an actual link and as far as I can see are not persistent.
Its not really a "social" platform.
I don't think it makes sense to federate pithee with most other activityPub implementations.
@Tutanota@Vivaldi on mobile and @mozilla Firefox on desktop.
Both respect user privacy and are run by trustworthy orgs (Mozilla is challenging that ;/). Having a tab bar on mobile makes Vivaldi by far the best for me.
Hey @radar when will the search engine and Browser market share report for 2024 Q1 be published? They might be really interesting thanks to the digital markets act!
