There's truly a magic in these barangay buy-and-sell Facebook groups because I see people around my area just posting homecooked meals for 100 pesos and free delivery around the entire Santolan, Pasig. Like, yes ma'am let me have some of your chicken pastil 😍

I know there's a theory that the missing 10th Harbinger is Diluc's father Crepus. But I think it was Crucabena. When Arlecchino killed her, the Tsaritsa would have given her the 10th seat. But upon finding out about her Khaenri'ahn curse, she instead gave her the 4th seat.

Now the question changes to "who was in the 4th seat before The Knave?" And to that, I have no answer lol

Yung melted wax dito ay galing sa nabili kong scented candles na naka-tin can sa SM Store. Sinubukan ko siya gamitin as scented candle kaso hindi naman kumalat sa buong room yung amoy, and sobrang liit lang ng room ko. Next ko tinry is nilagay ko yung buong candle sa mainit na tubig, which made the smell cover the entire room. Kaya naisipan ko bumili ng candle warmer. And now na wala nang amoy yung wax (literal na amoy kandila na lang sya hahaha), bumili na ako ng vanilla essential oil.

Honestly, I just wanna go back to designing and writing marketing websites that I have full control over. I wanna do the design, the development, the deployment, and the timeline. Give me the vibe you want, and the content you need to put in it, and I'll get it done, and I'll have fun doing it.

This entire thing of me managing people + handling projects from the back end + taking up extra projects on the side using tech I don't like is exhausting me.

I used to not get paid on time for my work, but I was happy with what I was doing. I get to be creative on my own terms, and clients were equally happy with my work. I miss that.

I think my heart is really with designing things, and now that my work involves none of that, I am not satisfied. Sure, I did grow a lot, and managing people is a challenging job that I am also glad to have taken. But my heart is yearning for creation. Heck, I can't even be excited for things like masonry and view transitions without being sad that I wouldn't be able to use it at work because websites we create are just built with Bootstrap in the year of our lord 2024.

It's just a rant I know, but it has now gotten clear to me because I noticed that I dreaded coming to those daily stand ups we have. I do not want this project at all; I just needed the money.

@luthien1126 I think that's actually what I'll do. I've been thinking of taking freelance design projects on the side for the longest time, and I think I might actually do it once this side project I'm doing is closed.

I am currently loving this Micke desk from IKEA. It's just spill proof I think. I don't know anything about carpentry, but the way the entire thing is coated makes spills really easy to wipe off with cloth. Stains are also easily wiped away with just a bit of water.

It's also very sturdy and doesn't easily shake when I bump into it.

@miffens I'm not entirely sure, this is the only table I'd been eyeing on. But it's matte, so liquids don't seep through the paint, but they clump together more so it's easier to just wipe it.
