theywilleatthestars,

Windows 7, maybe I could even download iTunes 10 and get my old music library back

Now that DuckDuckGo is out. Give me your search prompts and I'll answer them as best I can. That includes images (based on what I have saved on my PC). So what is it you wish to know or see?

Edit: Due to popular demand FatTony Search servers are down for the time being. but has gone open source just in time (Yes that’s how it works 😡) . You may now get responses from other users. Servers will be back up some time later.

theywilleatthestars,

“The Monster At The End of This Book” “metaphor for death”

theywilleatthestars,

Movies about sad communists

theywilleatthestars,

Think the passage of time pretty much does that on its own

theywilleatthestars,

Whenever I’m looking for something to watch I refresh my tumblr dashboard and start whatever I see first. spins proverbial wheel How about Steven Universe?

theywilleatthestars,

Significantly less authoritarian than slavery.

theywilleatthestars,

World leaders have only ever cared about human rights when it was convenient for them, but people have been protesting Israel for months now. Average people care, it’s just that their misinformed and disempowered.

theywilleatthestars,

You can try to ask stupid questions, but according to the title of this community you will never succeed

I'm so tired of hearing about US police brutality and China being authoritarian. Why does it feel like everyone is a hypocrite here? Where are the posts about Chinese protests and police brutality?

I bet if the kind of things happening in the US happened in China, I wouldn’t be able to stop hearing about it. I mean, people are still criticizing the Tiananmen Square massacre, and hasn’t anything happened since then? It’s like still making conspiracy theories about Kennedy’s assassination or 9/11, those are old news.

theywilleatthestars,

You’d see a lot of them when those Hong Kong protests were going on

theywilleatthestars,

It was usually treated as synonymous with NFTs/cryptocurrency/the metaverse and only soulless investor types liked those things so they all went bust

theywilleatthestars,

Because authoritarians took over the Soviet Union and proceeded to try to run every other revolution.

theywilleatthestars,

Think that anyone who would find that stuff compelling is not in a good place emotionally or mentally. Now, ideally they should be pulled out of that, and you do occasionally hear stories about people leaving extremist groups like Qanon because they found a healthy hobby or community. On the other hand, I don’t think humans can really be separated cleanly between victim and victimizer, and the people this questions describing often become a danger to other people.

theywilleatthestars,

Probably more right-wing than you’re looking for, but The Concept of the Political by Carl Schmitt. Insightful on how these people think, and much more readable than works by some Nazi philosophers I could mention. Also if you’re interested in a good deconstruction of far right views, I highly recommend Neoreaction a Basilisk by Elizabeth Sandifer
