I work in a hospital, and have campaigned to get vegan food included on the menus with some progress. Every year they run a staff feedback online form, and I try to press them on their “clean green image” that they keep running with. I keep asking for the menus to have plant-based food as a tickable option, rather than as a request. Hasn’t happened yet.

At least they now have pre-made vegan sandwiches and wraps available. Problem is the patients here are all rich boomers who turn their noses up at the mere mention of vegetables. So a lot of the vegan sandwiches/wraps end up in the skip.

I’ve asked them to keep the out-of-date ones aside for me, but hospitals don’t like that kind of thing unfortunately.

Point is, I’m seeing quiet mild progress in the vegan food at hospitals department.

I feel like a false-flag wouldn’t have shot the PM so convincingly that he’d be “fighting for his life”. Like, a “missed me” assassination attempt would be near as effective without the near death.

Well it’s certainly not a waste, Some More News is top notch YouTube, funny and well researched. I almost guarantee you’ll enjoy it (put it on 1.5x speed or so).

But I guess the deciding point for me is that Tidal pays the artist around 5x more than Spotify - tidal pays the most of any streaming service. But the video goes into detail about how Spotify is owned by the record companies, why Taylor Swift fought against Apple Music, how Apple Music tried to screw musicians out of streaming revenue, it’s all a mess, and Tidal comes out consistently on top.

Calling someone a Muppet. In NZ (and to a lesser degree, UK/Australia), it’s a common thing to call someone who’s being an idiot. Not sure why. I think as a nation we generally like the Muppets, but not someone who’s being a Muppet.

A quick literary search suggests there is no evidence linking a vegan diet with a reduction in testosterone. In fact, most studies found an small but significant increase in testosterone with specifically vegan men.

A simple google search shows nothing that backs up your claim, odd that you would have made it.

Being a vegan, I like to stay abreast of the literature, and I’d never heard of a link between veganism and low T-levels. I quickly checked it, there’s no link (in fact the opposite seems more likely), so it seemed like an unnecessary dig at veganism for no reason. I don’t have a vested interest in any of the other claims OP made, so that’s why I picked at that one. You don’t have to fact check an entire comment to have an issue with one point.
