@fasterthanlime fast.com is using local Netflix cache appliance over IPv6. For Apple, it depends on which CDN they redirect you

@fasterthanlime If you pay 540€ with your company credit card, you pay before taxes, so it's like paying 270€ with your own money (still 50% more expensive, so not fair compared to an individual). Not all money you make in an EIRL is considered revenue money. You can make company expenses with it. You can also keep it on the company account too (and pay "IS" on it by the end of the fiscal year).

RFC 9494 (BGP LLGR) has been published recently. In my opinion, this is a good idea to have it, notably if you are running BFD on the CPU. See this article from a few years back about it:

I have contacted my bank for a credit card problem that I have. They are asking my account password as a way to authenticate me. Good thing they try to educate people by saying the password should never be shared with anyone.

BGP RPKI question. With a ROA covering X/12 max length 12, can we add a ROA X/13 max length 13 and get both X/12 and X/13 be valid?

I wonder if the estimate for L2 is correct in Akvorado. In my case (Cisco NCS), I am exactly 10% off. I don't know if L3 is correct or if my computation from L3 to L2 is correct. Has anyone checked if what the get matches the other tools they have?

how does linux nat a ping? (interesting because it goes a bit further than that, including a bit of bpftrace)

Okay what's the modern way to replace the TAG+=uaccess we used to have?

I see that Microchip went the religious way (MODE=666) rather than anything sane…

vbernat,

@flameeyes The tag still works, doesn't it?

@flameeyes I don't think users connected over SSH ever worked before (the rule is for local user to get access). This is not really documented, but from source code, you need to have the active seat (check with loginctl).
