I just posted a short tutorial on setting up a simple #LLM on your #oneplus6 running #postmarketOS . The LLM (7b alpaca in this case) is not terribly accurate but possibly useful in some cases.
Warning! You phone will get hot. I haven't tested it long enough to know if it will harm your device, but do be careful.

@tek_dmn itโs basically just static because thereโs so much data being transferred. The ping video is neat because you see the transfer ping and return confirmation.
@dosgameclub Iโm building a 486 computer and I want to use it to follow along and play all your monthly games. I got an IBM Ambra from a used market and a good CRT monitor. I installed DOS 6.22 and Iโm waiting in a copy of windows 3.1.
This may be outside of your lane, but any experience with adding a network card to a 486 and connecting it over your lan? I was so young when I ran 3.1 that I canโt remember! Anyways, my hope is to get Indiana jones running soon. I loved it when I was a kid.
@qkall@linuxphones Great project! I thought of building something similar for my #Librem5 using a Peltier module. Never got around to it and they largely fixed the heat issue on the #L5. Nice work! Is the fan screwed into the backplate or into something glued to the backplate?
@ollieparanoid@linmob I'm dying to test out Plasma Mobile 6 on my #OP6. I'm currently building an image from the edge channel, but is version 6 even in edge yet? I read somewhere that pmOS setup a special channel for PM6 development. Do I have to jump to that one? I guess I'll find out in a few minutes.

I've come to the realization that I'm never going to sit down and watch all the #FOSDEM talks that I wanted to see, but missed, in Brussels. So, I went through my FOSDEM app, downloaded the video tracks for all the talks, and converted them to mp3. Now I have podcast content for my daily commute... 24 talks... should take about 4 weeks to get through them all. FOSDEM is amazing, but it really should be longer than 2 days. #FOSDEM2024

#Lomiri on the #Librem5 ? Yes! In a moment of frustration, I flashed #Mobian and installed the version of Lomiri in the Debian 12 repo. It was buggy as hell and crashed after 2 minutes. I suspect this was due to the GTK app I tried to run. After it crashed the first time, it wouldn't boot again and I had to flash Mobian all over to record this video.....
