Nothing breaks, things haven’t grown and developed yet. Like those pudgy, pudding-like non-dexterous hands, the pudding of their brains has to grow and develop too.
If you want to go all basic Piaget on it, rudimentary reasoning starts between ages 3-4y. This is why when a grown man punches a wall he is often likened to a toddler. This is also why some adults go to therapy, to grow and develop stunted coping skills.
For now, they’ll scream, cry, gesticulate wildly, and test the aerodynamic properties of their toys, until they grow into some reasoning capabilities. Developing strength and dexterity isn’t just about physical development.
Having dropped New Vegas in the past due to lost interest, I decided to try this game out finally since a friend of mine was having a fallout 3 playthrough himself. It was it 8 bucks, so I figured why not. I have to say, I put way more hours into this game than both other Bethesda games I’ve played through (Skyrim and...
Settlement management can get tedious and be a large time sink. Sim settlements 2 is actually not bad. You can off the most annoying ones on “mayors” to control. Show up later and add things if needed.
My family immigrated to the UK from Poland when I was six. I’m 20 now, speak much better English than Polish and feel like this is my land/culture. However I have a Polish first and last name, Polish passport and “unique” accent everyone picks up on, so despite this I’m usually perceived as an outsider. It makes me...
We’re a larger melting pot. In fact, that’s kind of our schtick. In spite of the racial shit, it swings entirely the other way as well. It’s a big country. England doesn’t cover a lot of surface area. 68million vs 341.5million.
Regionally there’s dialect nuance based on immigration. We’re a country of immigrants. If we’re discussing Poland then let’s talk Wisconsin. You can’t throw a stick in any direction without hitting a “ski” last name. People actually say shit like “borrow me your car Friday” or “borrow me a pencil”, instead of “lend”. My understanding is borrow and lend are the same word in Polish, context telling you what you need to know. All without identifying as Polish, just Midwest American, as far as I can tell. Even though we’re younger as a country, we’ve had time for that to happen.
For me showering means standing in a windowless room staring at a blank wall for 20 minutes (I get lost in my thoughts). Also there are several steps and I have to think about each of them....
Theres a strangely loyal following around the man. But let’s say he has an aneurysm and drops dead after taking office on these terms. Now what structure is the next unknown candidate moving into? Who is moving into it? It could be Bernie Sanders 2.0, which sort of defeats the purpose assuming this is all about Trump himself, that all of this is even happening simply because Trump is involved.
It’s like everyone is forgetting how fucking old Trump is. He’s old, fraying at the edges like he has Dementia (in and of itself, not in a degrees comparison to anyone else), and doesn’t appear healthy. I say this as someone who has spent decades in health care.
So they want to rebuild this infrastructure for him while dismantling base functioning of the country. The man isn’t immortal and he sure as fuck isn’t healthy. And no VP he chooses will ever have the chops to be anything, especially President, because it’s too much competition for his base hubris.
So they pave the way for dictator. The chosen dictator dies of old age and bad health. Now what?
What’s the punchline? Who is this for? It’s bizarre to think there really is no long game here, that it’s happening in the name of that one guy, but that appears to be what this is functioning on. It really is all falling apart, isn’t it?
The reality is this varies highly not just by individual doctor but by doctor group.
And whether or not they’re willing to consult a specialist while you’re in a hospital.
Spoiler: they lose money if they do this because only so much is available to be paid out for each patient. Second spoiler: sometimes seeing a specialist while hospitalized means getting transferred 100+ miles away to another hospital because that hospital doesn’t have any of that specialist available. Third spoiler: Level 1 hospitals are few and far between (they have everything).
Maybe so, but that doesn’t mean stay home on voting. Russia and China are allied, which is why Russia hasn’t failed in Ukraine yet. Iran is launching drones at Israel. (Neither are being great, but, a more active Iran isn’t a good thing.)
Do we want Trump or Kamala dealing with this crap?
It means OBGYN care in general is taking a giant nose dive. People don’t understand the terminology. “Abortion” is a medical procedure. Terminate a pregnancy: abortion. Expedite a miscarriage so mom doesn’t bleed to death: abortion. Remove a dead baby from the womb so a carcass doesn’t rot inside mom: abortion in the third trimester.
It’s all the same in a medical chart because medicine doesn’t make religious-political distinctions in their procedures, they’re just procedures.
Medical care should be private for no other reason than to keep this crap out of health care. Isn’t privacy what HIPAA was supposed to be about?
How do you even reconcile some of these state abortion laws with HIPAA, which is federal? Isn’t federal supposed to override state?
They’re both too fucking old. So if it helps you think about it, you may be voting for Kamala, not Biden, given his mental presence in the present.
This lackluster shit helps no one. But Trump would be disastrous beyond the 2016-2020 thing. He won’t leave this time. And he’s not the guy to deal with this Russia China alliance.
If ever there was an endorsement for mail in ballots, like some states have, this is it. You register to vote at the DMV. And your ballot shows up in the mail. No effort/extra time needed, large turnout.
Hesitancy around vaccines has spilled over to pet owners in recent years, sparking concern about the resurgence of rabies, a virus that’s nearly always fatal....
Vaccines are medical marvels. 1-3 and done on debilitating conditions. Love it. I personally like not having to worry about things like Polio and Diptheria.
Sure, tetanus, but one in 10 years isn’t bad. That shit is everywhere. No it doesn’t originate on rusty nails, that’s simply a delivery system with a next level surface area on it. Breaks in the skin, by any means, are what gets tetanus in.
Flu is a science prediction of the three most likely strains of the year. Usually it’s solid, but predictions are just that so sometimes life throws a curve ball and the mix doesn’t include what’s going around. Flu is ever mutating and there are many. If two flu strains meet in the night a third will be born. So, the yearly flu shot can in no way include them all. As such, they don’t do too bad on flu shots.
Rabies is scary as fuck and fatal. There’s a tiny window of time to get the shot once you’re exposed then you are fucked. And you may not show symptoms for a year. The Milwaukee thing was a bit of an outlier, it’s not a viable treatment.
I don’t get these crunchy motherfuckers and their need for not just self destruction but endangering everyone around them with their little crusades.

You can feel the love when you play their games. I’m old. I remember Baldurs Gate, Icewind Dale. Neverwinter Nights when it first hit, how big it was, how large the following was.
Playing Divinity OS was the first game in a while that had a love of RPG feels to it of yore. No surprise that they landed BG3.
