Arch has the best package management to be sure. For a "Daily Driver" setup, I'd recommend EndeavourOS. It's basically Arch with much easier setup, some useful tools (that you can choose to use or not), and very well set up for a daily use PC out of the gate. I've used both. Arch is nice, but EndeavourOS is what I run on my "Daily Driver" PC.
Let's see, Debian 12 is impressive. I got that running on my ancient PC in my home office. For a long time, Mint was my go-to recommendation for a new Linux user and I ran it on my main PC for years. Although, with Canonical (Ubuntu) going the way they're going, I'd have probably switched from MInt to LMDE by now if I stayed with it. For that matter, MXLinux is an excellent Debian based distro but, Debian 12 being as good as it is, I think I'd still go with Debian 12 today. If I were setting up PCs for use by students or some other group, I think I'd go with Fedora (assuming the whole kerfuffle with RHEL doesn't impact it).

....these days, on my personal "daily driver" PC, I run EndeavourOS. It's basically Arch but easy to install and very nicely set up out of the gate. Friendlier community than Arch as well. It's basically Arch for people who don't need to go minimalist on the install and/or flex about installing Arch.
Mint is an excellent "daily driver" option. I used it for years. Running EndeavourOS these days but nothing bad to say about Mint. If I'd have stayed with it, I'd have likely moved to LMDE by now though. Although, that's more about my concerns with the direction Canonical is heading than Mint itself.
I've explained it this way; If Windows is an "Automatic" and, say, Arch is a "Stick Shift", then MInt is a "Paddle Shift". You can drive it around like an automatic all day but, if you want direct access to the gear box, it's right under your fingertips.
I guess I'm a "casual gamer" and I tend to avoid games using anti-cheat (not clear on how much access to my computer I'm giving that software). So far, for me, the games have "just worked". I'm even alpha testing a new game (Palia) in Lutris and it seems to be working just fine.
Can I go faster on a road bike using less energy? ......yes
Will a road bike climb better? ........probably
Could I take a road bike where I took this one today? ........wouldn't recommend it ;)
I don't know. I get the sentiment against anyone who hoards wealth and/or earns it off of the suffering/exploitation of others. Thing is, in the aviation world, my job is to stop shit engineering like that from ever being allowed to carry passengers. I've recently learned my analog doesn't exist in the nautical world. I'm also aware that among those passengers was a 19 year old kid and a Titanic researcher. The CEO was made aware of the vessel's shortcomings and was convinced he knew better. In the end, he dies from his own hubris and takes four people with him.
A friend of mine, who's much more knowledgeable in these regulatory issues, filled me in somewhat. I guess, to make it work, it will require a high level of international cooperation. Frustrating because I've been in meetings with CEOs like that, but I've had the delegated authority to enforce proper design practices. All anyone could do with him was plead with him to see reason before he gets someone killed.
I had a couple classmates that pretended to be vampires back in elementary and middle school. They’d pretend their Koolaid was blood, complain about the sunlight, and bite their friends a lot. Not enough to draw blood, though. I haven’t kept up with most of them, but one guy is a teacher now. He seems pretty normal.
I suppose it depends upon how it was made and what they do with it once they have it. If it's hoarding wealth for wealth's sake then, yea, probably an issue. It seems though, there are some that have obtained wealth and chose philanthropy.
For years, the Cinnamon Desktop was my favorite. In part, because it was the evolution of Gnome 2. Recently, I've been running the Gnome Desktop and, after working with it for a while, it's won me over. I still hold Cinnamon in high regard but, I'm liking Gnome better these days.
My Permadeath toon recently joined the Eissentam Galactic Hub. Since I know any in game death will wipe him completely, I created a little "watering hole" for him I call the "Memento Mori Lounge"... #nms#nomanssky

This is definitely not a Shitpost. Pick a Linux distro and advertise it for me....
What replacement for each major social media do you use

Linux Mint is still going strong after being my daily driver for 4 months, and I don't think i will be going back anytime soon. (startrek.website)
And yes I looked it up and it was the game’s fault, elite dangerous odyssey can be fickle even when I had Windows 🤷♂️

Hey folks,...
Did you ever have a classmate that pretended to be a vampire or some other supernatural creature? How much did they commit to it?

Can a rich person be a good person?
I don't mean doctor-making-150k-a-year rich, I mean properly rich with millions to billions of dollars....
