From a business perspective, I understand why ONE is protecting Rodtang. He’s a walking highlight reel, which means easy money. As a fan, it sucks, but this is a tale as old as combat sports. The best should fight the best… unless there’s money to be made.

If you have Amazon Prime, you really should tune into their fight night cards. They do a great job mixing up the fights between grappling, striking, and MMA. Their Muay Thai fights are almost always bangers.

Maybe! Jamahal has a tough fight ahead of him in Jiri. Both Alex vs Jan and Jamahal vs Jiri could go either way, though I tend to agree with Jamahal on his prediction with the Alex vs Jan fight.

Glover and Anthony Smith was a closer match than I expected. Smith held his own despite losing the decision. Overall this was a good card with a few nice finishes. I think the UFC need to adjust the ruleset because EBI rules allow for stalling to get to the overtime rounds. Also, the raised stage sucks for grappling without something to keep people from rolling out. I hope they adopt a pit with angled sides or a larger ground floor mat. Craig Jones would have likely finished 2 takedowns and possibly a RNC were it not for the small stage.
