AceQuorthon,

Can all these feuding rappers just jump infront of a train or smth.

Dippy,

I don’t pay attention to rap and even I know that Kendrick is cool, and Drake is a predator

EasternLettuce,

Kendrick defended R Kelly…

Dippy,

Ooof. Was not aware of this.

Nah he was stood up for R Kelly because Spotify wasn’t gonna do shit about white abusers on their platform. He can combat racism there and still be against abuse.

EasternLettuce,

There are many better ways to protest white abusers without aligning yourself with a black one

SoleInvictus,

I originally intended to respond with something to the effect of “it’s okay to ally with people on a single topic if you disagree on others”, then I remember this was pedophilia, which makes you socially radioactive. I agree, the behavior crosses that line.

You’re afforded one mistake in your career.

That’s like five mistakes in one.

I never much cared for drake

Whenever I think about Drake, I think about that one time his security blocked traffic in a small t-intersection so him and his friends could turn. Specifically one of his friends laughing at the guy being blocked who was recording the interaction.

    TheFriar,

Interesting. Because when I think of him, I think of hat video of the concert where he’s talking about how hot this girl he brought on stage was, and making these noises like he can barely contain his desire for her and he asks how old she is and she says, like, 15 or something.

I had never listened to him before that. And I never did. I just put on the first drake track I ever selected to put on, the one he just put out after Kendrick Lamar ate him for lunch (I only listened to one KL album, it’s good, but I’m not a fan) and I didn’t even make it to the end of the song.

    JillyB,

He’s got some really good music. No doubt that Kendrick is the more “deep” of the 2.

    TimewornTraveler, (edited )

is there even any reason to compare them? i genuinely dont know what connection they have. kendrick’s music is so different and so much better. are they friends IRL or something? is there something in the "news?

    JillyB,

They are currently exchanging diss tracks. This will likely be one of the biggest beefs in hip hop.

I think he shines as a producer. His music is genuinely good, but I don’t like him as a person. I don’t change the channel when he comes on the radio but his music will not be in my personal library. Kendrick Lamar though… good shit all day.
