OC Did the Pemalites bring the Iskoort to their new homeworld?

From some comments on another thread:

Do we know that it’s their (the Iskoort) home world? Maybe it’s just a planet where they happen to have a trading outpost.

I got the same general impression (that it was their homeworld). Even if it turns out no authoritative source says so, it seems reasonable to conclude it is their homeworld unless told otherwise.

So why fight at an outpost that's not the homeworld?

The best I can say is that they could have agreed to do battle at an outpost and then move the howlers to the homeworld if that team won. But there’s no compelling reason why that should be the case. Simpler to conclude that it is the homeworld.

The other thing is that if it is their homeworld then likely the surface looks as ugly as the Yeerk one, with a harsh atmosphere and ugly pools all around. Perhaps they build up to avoid having their customers see that stuff.

On the flip side, while the Ellimist never wanted to revisit Ket, it’s easy to see how his creations, the Pemalites, might have carried over the Yeerks to Ket (following his instruction to spread life throughout the galaxy) and altered the Sun of Ket to provide Kandrona rays, without ever being aware of that planet’s connection to their own creator.

Finally, it’s not wrong to share tech with the Yeerks, if the Pemalites did it and got good results with the Iskoort.
