@eclecticpassions This is wonderful and thank you for the credit. I'm curious why the last modified date didn't work for you? I'm wondering if it is the command of stat, date or date difference that caused the issue for you? I would love to update mine to make it more portable.

@adamsdesk Thanks for your code in the first place! I tried investigating why it wasn't working on my Mac Mini M1, but I'm not well versed enough to figure it out... I was learning bash along the way! Thinking about it now; could it be related to read / write permissions?

@eclecticpassions You're welcome. Oh okay. Yes permissions can be the issue if they have been modified. The script should be ran under your user account, so it should have access. However worth a check. If I had a mac I would give it a go, but I don't have one that new.
