Dragon,

"CSIS document indicates Indian Proxy targeting of Conservative Leadership race -and in light of the US DOJ indictment - Conservative leadership says Foreign Interference Commission should look at potential organized crime proxies in Interference"

FYI Cooper was the reporter who broke the China allegations

Poilievre hasn't said a negative word about India murdering a Canadian Citizen in Canada. Kinda suspicious

Dragon,

"It continues, saying “recent CSIS reporting indicates that a proxy agent claims the Government of India is providing support to an elected Canadian politician’s campaign for the leadership of a political party in Canada, by securing party memberships for that campaign.”"

Federal Coservatives and Greens had leadership campaigns in 2022.

No way anyone cares about the Green party leadership internationally.

Dragon,

Here’s a link to the detailed report. Neither of our two major parties comes out smelling very good:

Canada overall is noted as being seen as weak partner in dealing with the issue by its US security partner, surprise, surprise.

It doesn't actually say the interference was to benefit Poilievre though, nor whether the GOI campaign to interfere was successful.

My second post in the thread quotes the detail. The nitter link is to Cooper the author of the articles original tweet on this.

Cooper is the reporter who broke the China allegations. Good editing my have saved his gig at Global, as a freelancer, best to be super careful with language.
