The numbers are pretty damning for the PC's on this issue. The one thing to note is that the survey was conducted almost entirely before Amato resigned. Still, I suspect the average voter doesn't know who Amato is, or even cares if he stepped down.
This all said, it seems to have barely even nudged their topline polling numbers... It's astonishing, really. They have a -16% approval, and yet they lead the pack by a fair margin:
