@Skembear another great example of why giving the police more powers is a bad idea. They can't even properly use the ones they already have.

Section 42 is not intended to block protest. Protesters have the right to freedom of assembly and freedom of expression, and the police are supposed to take the Human Rights Act into account when policing.

The protesters should sue the police for this. It needs to stop.
