Black Rhinoceros

The Black Rhino is critically endangered due to several factors. One of the main threats to the species is unlawful poaching activities, as their horns are used for the production of both daggers and medicine. Rising demand for rhino horn, particularly in Vietnam and China, is a major threat to the species. Habitat loss and fragmentation also contribute to the decline of black rhino populations. Despite conservation efforts, poaching remains a persistent problem.
