I went all winter without shaving and developed quite a beard. Early in spring I shaved it off. Several days later she asked "did you do something with your hair???"

@jhavok @Saltssaltgirl Reminds me of when I shaved off half my beard - the right half, as I recall - and my spouse failed to notice. I am... furniture. Though when I moved the couch, that she noticed.
