but if you can’t contribute well to a project, I don’t see why you wouldn’t fork it. I agree it can divide forces for a similar project but in my own view, Iceshrimp and Catodon are two well distinct project.
Catodon seams to wanna be a successor of firefish while Iceshrimp is currently in standby for a fullrewrite, keeping a bit of firefish spirit.
I don’t see how those projects could fuse in that regards
