If you train professionals to act as providers of care/advice to individuals tailored their needs, but then insist that they deliver (bog) standard care aimed at a mythical Mean patient, then as day follows night the probability that any person receive excellent care is very close to zero. So costs rise as outcomes deteriorate.
Healthcare is complex and humans keep it safe, if permitted to; procedures may prevent them doing that.
