Eh, never hurts to have something here. I'm still skeptical though. What ever happened to Grand Texas? They actually sorta started with the water park and some other stuff, and fizzled-out. Kinda frustrating that news media never called them out on lying to everyone in Houston.
Yeah, I am pretty ready for this summer to be over already. If you're not in the shade, I think you're bound for heat stroke pretty quick. Even with this heat, it's still relative. I had to go down to Laredo last weekend, and it was even more stifling if you can somehow believe it. Not sure if you've ever been down there, but the grass doesn't grow. It's all weeds and dirt in most peoples' yards.
I technically drink tap water, but it is filtered through my fridge. About 5 years ago, I would regularly drink it though. I know of no one else who does it though. Everyone is paranoid about it. Not exactly sure why.
I can understand if your house has old lead pipes or something, but otherwise, why not?
For me, they do still provide a bit of a base. I'm far less likely to answer an unsolicited foreign area code these days just because of all the spam calls.
Good luck, it's like that everywhere right now. The issue is that the property values nationwide have increased, so because of that, property owners will up the rent to compensate for tax liability. Others just know that the market commands that price for their property.
My family visited the Blind Goat a few months ago and it was delightful! Christine was there and so nice. She stopped by our table and took pictures with us and the food was fantastic. I look forward to her new restaurant!
