buycurious,

This is pretty cool!

How do you envision a gene-raptor?

buycurious,

The payments to the couple went through a Texas-based shell company owned by Imelda Cuellar and two of the couple’s children, according to the indictment. That company received payments from the Azerbaijan energy company of $25,000 per month under a “sham contract,” purportedly in exchange for unspecified strategic consulting and advising services.

Sounds like bribery to me.

buycurious,

This is great!

Are you thinking about coloring in some other ones?

buycurious,

Kangaroos are known to use jumping as their primary way to move around.

The Tech Robber Baron who wants to take over San Francisco (newrepublic.com)

Balaji, a 43-year-old Long Island native who goes by his first name, has a solid Valley pedigree: He earned multiple degrees from Stanford University, founded multiple startups, became a partner at Andreessen-Horowitz and then served as chief technology officer at Coinbase. He is also the leader of a cultish and increasingly...

buycurious,

Balaji then revealed his shocking ideas for a tech-governed city where citizens loyal to tech companies would form a new political tribe clad in gray t-shirts. “And if you see another Gray on the street…you do the nod,” he said, during a four-hour talk on the Moment of Zen podcast. “You’re a fellow Gray.”

The Grays’ shirts would feature “Bitcoin or Elon or other kinds of logos … Y Combinator is a good one for the city of San Francisco in particular.” Grays would also receive special ID cards providing access to exclusive, Gray-controlled sectors of the city. In addition, the Grays would make an alliance with the police department, funding weekly “policeman’s banquets” to win them over.

“Grays should embrace the police, okay? All-in on the police,” said Srinivasan. “What does that mean? That’s, as I said, banquets. That means every policeman’s son, daughter, wife, cousin, you know, sibling, whatever, should get a job at a tech company in security.”

What in tarnation?

buycurious,

You know, even though I think you approached in good faith, the moderator team over there has probably changed a lot, especially with Reddit now being public.

It wouldn’t surprise me if certain stories are suppressed because of how much attention/views Reddit as a whole can draw (and potentially influence).

buycurious,

Did anyone else notice the papier-mâché looking Real Doll in the first photo, off to the right?

buycurious,

What a terrible day to have (Buscemi) eyes

buycurious,

Thank you for also including the secret panel!

buycurious,

I take it you haven’t had the opportunity to meet anyone that grew up on the southern USA.

“Get” would be absolutely be colloquial for what you said.

buycurious,

This one is giving me some Horizon Zero Dawn vibes.

Very cool!

buycurious,

Hi there. Stumbled across this from “All.”

How come you didn’t use any oil to cook your veggies?

buycurious,

Can someone please explain this one to me?

I’m a bit dense and don’t get it.

buycurious,

I’ve always thought this was a pretty good one:

real G’s move in silence like lasagna

buycurious,

It’s a metaphor.

The “g” is silent in the pronunciation of lasagna.

This gives the meaning that “real gangsters” operate silently.
