The Pees -- Ekaki [ARUKINEMA. 2012. Punk]

In my last post I shared a song by singer-songwriter Tomovsky. This time I'm sharing a song by his brother's (lead vocalist and bass player, Haruyuki Oki) band, The Pees.

The Pees are a raw and loose 3-piece punk rock band with a style ranging from frenetic and wild, to no-fucks-given relaxed, always with active, melodic bass lines, a touch of blues harmony, and vocals that drift in and out of tune just the right amount.

This particular tune, ekaki, is definitely on the chill side and is one of my favorites of theirs, so turn it up, sit back, find some kara-age chicken and a cold drink, chill out and enjoy! :)
