@neatchee There probably won't be anything official. Ado is under a big label after all. If they've set it to block embeds on official videos they'll probably have anything they can blocked.
In a way that's sort of sad to see from someone who started with successful indie roots.
@nazokiyoubinbou it's actually common that there are just different listings on YouTube for the hq audio and video versions. The former for premium, the latter for everyone
Is not supposed to be like that, but not everyone knows how to do it correctly so the same URL works for both
@neatchee Not sure about that. In most cases it's really an issue of licensing -- specifically they want to limit viewing in certain areas and such. Makes me really miss back before they monetized Youtube so heavily. No one had to limit videos in such a manner back then. :sadness:
@nazokiyoubinbou I'm saying I've experienced the case before where a link I pulled from YouTube Music would be inaccessible (even when converted to a regular YouTube link) if you didn't have Premium. But the same song was available under a different link of you searched for it. This is a thing that happens. It happens relatively often when I'm trying to share songs I listen to on YouTube Music
@nazokiyoubinbou oh. Yeah none of them work embedded for me either. That's just typical web enshittification lol. I thought you were saying they didn't work at all in your region
@nazokiyoubinbou I mean, you can still share them at least, just not embed them
And in many cases that has less to do with monetization, since embeds can still contain ads and count traffic, and more to do with brand control and preventing content from appearing next to things that could cause bad PR
