The idea is that a frame mounted optic reduce reciprocating mass compared to a slide mount, and reduce recoil forces on the optic. Less mass moving with the slide = less felt recoil. You have to balance a lot of factors; I want to eventuality get down to the minimum felt recoil--with a ported slide and compensator--while still being able to reliably cycle the lightest 10mm ammo.
TBH, the recoil already feels lighter than my polymer 9mm because it's so heavy.
I need to fabricate a nice holster for it, and then compare my times on Bill drills to see if my perception of less recoil is accurate or not.
