Can I use hairwax on my moustache?
I recently started growing a moustache and now looking into maintainance. After watching a video about shaping and moustache wax I am now wondering can I use hairwax on my moustache and if no, why?

MedicPigBabySaver, Yes
themeatbridge, You can do anything you want to, because you have a moustache.
But sometimes haircare products have more oils and not enough wax for moustache hairs. Facial hair is thicker, curlier, and holds moisture differently.
They may also have very strong perfumes that smell nice in hair but are too much sitting on your upper lip all day.
I have had luck making my own from a 50/50 mix of beeswax and coconut oil. Melt it in a double boiler or even the microwave, and then pour it into a jar to cool. For what you will pay for a pound of each, you could make 100 times as much wax as you’d get from buying individual tins. Play with the ratio until you get what you like. You can add essential oils or even some of that good-smelling-but-too-strong hair wax or beard balm. I would stay away from tars or resins unless you want that sticky look.
PP_BOY_, No reason why you can’t, I do every day
