I created this magazine because it didn't exist yet when I was looking for one. I've never moderated anything before, so if you are interested in helping out, let me know! I'd also appreciate any constructive feedback, especially regarding rules, since there isn't really much there yet.
Hi there! I had actually just created a nerf community over on sh.itjust.works, but I'm happy to see one popping up here too, it remains to be seen which will end up being more popular! I don't know anything about moderating really, but I'd be happy to help out at least at the beginning of growing here!
Sounds great! I'll go check it out and subscribe! Honestly I've never been one to really create content, but here it seems like my comments and the like actually get to people, unlike on Reddit where they would just disappear into the void. Maybe I'll post something quick when I get home in a bit
Yeah I hope that with time more community members will find their way over here if the reddit decline continues, but it is nice to have a very small community with lots of engagement too! I think it'll be interesting to see if Kbin or Lemmy ends up being more successful, and how many people actually migrate over here.
