@Kozmyk It’s the generic term for someone who is against inherited rulers, i.e. an anti-monarchist. Even if they are no longer really in charge in most monarchies, it’s totally antithetical to my worldview that the position of head of state & all of the privileges that go with it should be handed down through the same family.
Then you have the capital R type who desire to reinstall a corrupt dictator & his family instead, who will do away with democracy & the rule of law.
