Trying to set up two users on a single #NintendoSwitch to play #Fortnite (at different times). Each Switch user has its own Nintendo acct and each has its own #Epic acct. The first user I've played for years. The second (which I added to online family membership I might not have needed?) I linked the user acct to Nintendo, linked Epic to Nintendo, tried to play but Fortnite says Epic "account already registered". Are two even poss on a single device?! Why is this so awkward?! 😿 #gaming #gamedev

@calicoday Ah, so, when you map a Nintendo account to an Epic account, you're creating a (relatively permanent I think) binding between the two. It's so that the back-end can convert your Nintendo account into the matching Epic account. You can't multi-bind an Epic account to multiple Nintendo accounts.

Same limitation tends to crop up with any other store account. EA's is famously bad, there's apparently just no way I can salvage my Xbox account - it is PERMANENTLY bound to an EA account that got corrupted since today's proper EA accounts just didn't exist back then, lol. So I just can't play EA games on Xbox now.
