NES Works Gaiden swings a bat and an axe with the Epoch Cassette Vision

Gaming historian Jeremy Parish takes an in-depth look at the Epoch Cassette Vision, an early Japanese game console with the brains of the system inside the cartridge, rather than the console itself. (Milton Bradley's Microvision, released around the same time, took a similar approach.)

Two games are featured in this YouTube video... Kikori no Yosaku and Baseball. The former game was based on a hit 1970s song* and the latter is a simplified take on the sport, closely resembling Toy Baseball from the Switch version of Clubhouse Games.
