I just came across Ridge Racer Type 4 on PS4 and it didn’t even ask me to subscribe to their retro thingy?!
Because I bought it years ago on Vita?

@OutofPrintArchive Hmmmm... that's strange. I played Type 4 quite a bit on the original PSX and I believe it was compatible with both digital and analog.
I'm pretty sure I only ever played with analog though. By the time I picked up a copy I had been playing Ridge Racer 64 for some time and was so used to analog controls.
Is it for curiosity's sake or are you just more comfortable with the digital controls?
I have no Insight but wish you luck on getting it working.

Oh yeah, Ridge Racer is a series that I always played with digital controls.
WipEout as well.
I can play with digital ones fine, but when it comes to pushing that little harder and performing quite a bit better, digital for me personally is the way to go with this. It's not even a contest really, which is kinda weird.
@OutofPrintArchive It’s worth rechecking now and then if you own a lot as I think RRT4 and Tekken 2 started as remaining subscribe only but changed to include prior purchase access afterwards.
