@OutofPrintArchive@mstdn.games

Hi there, my name is Andy, I'm from Belgium.
I spend most of my free time digitising and restoring classic video game magazines, mostly from the UK.
I've been doing this for nearly 20 years now and I'm here to share my passion for these magazines with others.
I love to read and talk about gaming memories from years gone by.

My main hobbies are gaming, both modern and retro gaming, as well as Japanese, South Korean and classic Hong Kong cinema.

Oh wow. I had no idea.
Never give them a second thought, but looking back, it makes total sense.

Review for Jewel Master on Mega Drive from Sega Force 2 - February 1992 (UK)

I had so much fun with this one back in the day.
One of those games that I found by looking at all the box art in the local Tandy shop.
Never hear much about this one at all.

I just want to repost this as we lost something really special.

If you haven't played Prey or any of the Dishonoured games before, please give them a try.
They might take a little bit of adjusting before they really click with you as they have a very specific type of play style which doesn't immediately show its brilliance.
At least it didn't for me.

But they give you so much in return when you put in a bit of time.

@yesterzine well, more or less as they both worked on the original, while Lyon did the sequel on their own while Austin did Prey.
They are working in that Blade game now, so I’m not sure when we’re even going to be getting another immersive sim game from them, if ever. 🙁

@kratoz29
The last one I played was Worms W.M.D. which was a true return to form.
Loved that one.
Not sure about Battlegrounds as I never played that one, but the double pack on PSN in on sale right now for €7 while WMD is €35 on its own.

This is such a weird game.
Pinball mixed with tactics and partially controlled with the microphone?
Certainly not a top 10 game, but I absolutely love that it exists.

I AM GOING TO BECOME THE JOKER

Microsoft says it needs games like Hi-Fi Rush the day after killing its studio

@renkotsuban

As if the last couple of days weren't infuriating enough, this asshole (Matt booty) actually "We need smaller games that give us prestige and awards", literally the day after he killed these studios.

While Tango pitched Hi-Fo Rush 2 and Arkane wanted to go back to making immersive sims after they were forced to make Redfall against their will.

I'm mad at myself for falling for MS's bullshit for years and building my library of games there.

Never again.

Chuck from Better Call Saul saying "What a sick joke!"

@COMPU73E @renkotsuban

I'm sure that if there's enough backlash, they will find one of two scape goats to get rid off and pretend to go on a redemption tour, thinking that'll fix their image problem.

But it's not the first time we've seen them do this.

They literally have everything they need to be one of the biggest players in the industry yet their pure greed always takes over and they think they can get away with anything and everything.
It's disgusting.
