I enjoyed my G4, but finally the hinge broke and the monitor stayed at the bottom, which was annoying. There was no apparent way to fix it either. I ended up giving it to a friend who didn’t have a computer and he was grateful.

I’d love it if they went back to some of their more ‘experimental’ designs. The current iMacs look good, if a bit…derivative.

Dark_Blade, They really let themselves go crazy before going full ‘minimalist’. It’s a shame they never went back to some of their crazier ideas.
iThinkergoiMac, Makes me want to pull out my 12” PowerBook G4. Those were some great computers.
Chadsmo, The Ti PowerBooks were so amazing. A friend had the 12 inch and I was pretty jealous.

green_dragon, Classic. I loved the PowerPC days. Still run a G4 tower every now and then; works like a champ!
Bigpete, I am sitting next to my eMac right now! I think the cube is still my favorite design, but all of those early 2000s machines are awesome.
Chadsmo, I really want to put the guts of my M1 Mac mini in a G4 Cube case.
Poseidon, I really loved the early iMacs. Such standout computers for those made at the time.
Casmael, Yeah I remember seeing them on display in John Lewis (uk department store) in like 2002 or whatever and thinking they looked like the coolest fucking computers I’d ever seen. Really great design imo shame it only lasted one generation.
Treatyoself, The flower pot was my first Mac and I miss it so much.
