What from reddit do you hope to never see on lemmy?
i can’t stand megathreads – no one reads these! no one wants their posts banished there!

GwiwerGoch, A tolerance for the propagation of disinformation.
Room for disagreements is necessary, but so is stopping people who never cared about agreeing in the first place. Giving the dishonest this freedom has only silenced the honest by burdening them with layers of crap to cut through before their speech is heard.
SoyTDI, I don’t care about ads on Reddit. They aren’t intrusive, although I don’t like fake “organic content”. I think the worst thing is seeing the same thing over and over again in the same sub, being reposted by bots. It’s OK if it’s from time to time, but they don’t even try to change the title.
Grief, tiktoks
outofemailaliases, its only a matter of time till someone makes a federated tikcock clone
hotdogthud, Spez.
HangoverTuesday, Yeah, fuck that guy.
reddit_sucks, Karma, and assholes who intentionally try and misrepresent an OP because he wasn’t eating everyone’s ass in the first post.
Hyrulian, karma
sycamore, (edited ) Tik tok videos
Edit: I never took the time to learn how to spell it
pizzaiolo, Love how you misspelled that. Made the platform sound as dumb as it actually is
meldroc, He Gets Us…
ragnahare, Almost gave me a heart attack I thought they somehow squirmed their way here!!
Footsie5680, Gif’s that end too soon for “comedic value”but too often just end up feeling suuuper unnecessary and contrived.
Just stop that trend already, please. It’s 2023, not 2016.
rob_t_firefly, (edited ) Sponsored posts, banner ads, algorithms, and other advertising-industry fuckery.
A reply that’s just “r/(some subreddit name).”
A robot trying to sell stolen fan art printed onto t-shirts.
People childishly self-censoring non-sweary words. “Sex” isn’t a bad word, but writing “s*x” suggests you probably shouldn’t be allowed on social media at your stage of development.

tpihkal, Trigger warnings; not once did I click on a post in Reddit and not have an accurate expectation of what I was about to see.
IronicViking, All the “helpful” bots filling the comments with annoying messages.
KingJalopy, It’s also been nice not seeing the usual references in every single thread such as, broken arms, coconuts, this, endless comment chains of “nice”, etc, I think you get the point.
Edit - Thanks for the gold kind stranger! This post really blew up! Can’t believe my top comment is this!
therearenoteams, Ads
cafebistro, What’s the plan though? Eventually, won’t all these lemmy servers need to cover their expensese somehow?
tpihkal, Subscription? That’s just good old fashion capitalism.
Lukecis, Something akin to Against Hate Subreddits, that place is an utter hellhole which is one of if not the most hateful places on the site - hell even the entire internet.
The people who use it are also some of the most insufferable people you’ll ever meet on the internet.
I’d also like to not see single power mods rule over hundreds or thousands of different communities, that is also cancer.
clearleaf, Reddit became so full of hate subs that a lot of them didn’t even know they were hate subs.
meldroc, Death-penalty-for-jaywalking moderation.
