Side-note, does anyone #brisbane have an electrician they'd recommend? I have a broken light switch needs replacing, but it'd also be great to chat about replacing my grubby old gas cooker with induction.
The gas->induction pipeline so far: Gas and power is off, but I can't get the stovetop out to measure the cutout. It's screwed in and looks like the whole oven needs to come out to undo it.
I figure I need a licensed pumbler to cap the gas line, but will they be able to get the stove out too? I'm blocked, so yolo let's find out.
Pictured: the upside down screw locking it all in, and the absolute filth hiding inside the old gas burner.
Just had a moment of panic when the oven wouldn't turn on. I've a banana bread batter bristling to be baked. Be a bit bad if the broiler's busted. (It's ok now I just needed to program in the time, I think?)
