OC Now might be the time to get hold of a tradie, if you can afford it

We're getting our roof replaced, and also had some electrical work done recently. Both tradies have said, more or less explicitly, that work has slowed right down because of EOFY and interest rates rises. The roofer even said he was hoping for a winter hailstorm!

So if you've been waiting to get work done, now might be the time to get your quotes. I know at least one person whose parents were flooded 18 months ago and still haven't been able to get repairs done.
