I’m guessing, they left out all the islands, but even then, it still doesn’t look terribly accurate to me, so no idea…

Ephera, Yes, I decided to call it “Southern Ireland”, because I doubt many people outside of Europe will know which one of the two Irelands is the “Republic of Ireland”.

They rotated it slightly to get the south coast more horizontal and binned off most islands (the Shetlands and Orkneys I can understand but the Isle of Man wasn’t in the way).so they could pack more into the space.

Mojojojo1993, What are you disagreeing with ? I lived in Edinburgh for 25 years. 4 years in Dundee. I’ve been to most Scottish cities. Easy Coast and west I haven’t really visited and none of the islands. No higher than Inverness. Never been to ullapool or however it’s spelt.

They clearly meant to get Edinburgh (although that also implies they’ve never been to Edinburgh) but went too wide.
Mr_Blott, My mum was born in Dundee. When she went to work on the switchboard at the gas company as a teenager, the very first thing they did was send her to an elocution class to get rid of the Dundee accent 😂
To her dying day, she still answered the phone like Hyacinth Bucket
