VHS, i’m from the midwest and this seems like a very normal way to write an abbreviated note

fossilesque, I’m from Pittsburgh and I’ve never heard of this lol. I know we’ve retained a lot of Old English words (eg en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/creek#English). Wish this had more references.
