Then why is Hawaii fucking massive?
ninja, Hawaii’s landmass is spread out across islands. If you smash them all together the size looks like it’d be comparable to Illinois. Colorado, on the other hand, looks a bit large.
Anamnesis, Yeah, Hawaii is huge and Idaho is way smaller than it actually is, despite it being right behind Hawaii, alphabetically.
TrickDacy, That’s what I originally thought, but if you compare Maine and Alaska, the sizes aren’t much different to my eye

Lesrid, Maybe he took all the current areas of the states. Then reassigned them alphabetically. Rather than creating new areas.
VeryVito, States get smaller in alphabetical order. Alabama is huge, while West Virginia is tiny.
