Those people are just clarifying headlines that give no idea how long the plane was in service. If they’ve been in service for over a decade it stands to reason that the maintenance on the plane might have been faulty. OFC Boeing should be investigated due to the door plug blow-out, and have previously demonstrated their willingness to cut corners with the Max debacle. That doesn’t mean every incident is their direct fault, and Airbus can suffer similar incidents but not be reported on.

I’ll be a minority voice considering the other comments. But maybe just pay for onlyfans or whatever you guys use. I’m a huge fan of Bill Bryson! He has a couple books about linguistics (The Mother Tongue and Made in America) that were personal favorites of mine. His nearly 600 page work ‘A Short History of Nearly Everything’ was also a very easy read.

In a similar vein ‘Unruly’ by David Mitchell has been a fun read so far!

Also a special shout out to ‘Pillars of the Earth’ by Ken Follett; it’s historical fiction but ignited my love of architecture.

I got the game a couple of days ago, first random match I got kicked right before extraction. Ran solo one round that went well, then disconnected the next one after achieving goal. Is this normal? Do I have to have irl friends that play the game to get a group? I’m on PC but my main gaming group are still on Xbox so can’t group up with them :(

PG&E wiped a town off the map in our deadliest wildfire, the Camp Fire, and plead guilty to 84 counts of involuntary manslaughter.

“If these crimes were attributed to an actual human person rather than a corporation, the anticipated sentence based on the applicable statutes to which the defendant has pleaded guilty would be 90 years to be served in state prison,” Judge Deems said. “Nevertheless, the court’s sentencing options are limited. As a corporation, PG&E cannot be sentenced to prison. The only punishment that the court is authorized to impose in this situation is a fine.”
